Since Moving In...

A new house naturally means that everything else needs a little sprucing up to become renewed again.  So here are some pictures of what we have been busy with since moving into our new house in June 2012.

Next on my list is our laundry "room" and our downstairs bathroom!  I'm super excited!

Christmas

Cambry's 2nd Christmas!

We had a great time this year!

Cambry loved getting gifts from her grandparents! This little video is her cute reaction to great-grandma and great-grandpa Stewart's gift!

Been a long time comin'...

All right, so you all know that I am not an on-top-of-it blogging mama, but I do update when I can :).  Here are some of the many things that have happened to us during this year so far:
  • Jason graduated from Utah State University in May
  • We bought a house in June
  • We had a baby in June (same day as we moved into the house we bought)
  • Traveled to a Stewart family reunion in Colorado in July
  • Will be going to Disneyland for a Baddley family reunion in November
Here are some of the pictures we took while living our crazy, awesome life :)

We sure miss Logan and our friends both human and dog.  My heart aches every time I see pictures of where we used to live and who we used to hang out with everyday.  I miss those days.  I wish Logan was closer.

This was at our sweet Bishop Farnsworth's house.  Before we left Logan we were honored to be able to eat dinner with him and his amazing family.  Thank you for your examples to us on how to be perfect disciples of Christ.

And then we moved into our new house the same day Maiya Paige Baddley was born.  We are so grateful for her and the joy she brings into our life and family.

Sisters just chillin' on the floor
After we returned home from Colorado we went to a splash pad with my friend Stephanie and her boys.  She's an awesome photographer!  (Thanks for not getting too much of me in it.)
"Why are you taking a picture of me while I'm trying to be brave?!"

Cambry just loves Maiya.  She is a great big sister.  She doesn't smother her but definitely loves to hold her on her lap, to burp her, to sing to her, and to kiss and hug her.

Pajama Twins!

Crazy and Cute!
Maiya just had her 4 month check up and she is doing well!  She is going to be much taller than Cambry ever is, which is fun to have both ends of the spectrum!  They seem to be opposite in a lot of ways:
  • Cambry has brown/hazel eyes, Maiya has blue eyes
  • Cambry is short, Maiya is tall
  • Cambry has light brown hair, Maiya has dark brown hair
  • Cambry walked first, Maiya will probably crawl first
  • Cambry ate many times in the middle of the night, Maiya only eats once in the middle of the night
  • Cambry has teeth, Maiya doesn't have teeth
But one thing they are alike, they are sisters, and they sure love each other.  And we love them too!

I have some videos from Cambry's birthday and our trip to CO but I don't know how to upload them yet.  So when I find out how I will have many to post!  For now, enjoy the pics!

Our Future New Home!

I can't believe it's been so long since I've blogged, and yet I get to it when I can. So for the past month or so Jason and I have been traveling 2 hours every weekend down to the Sandy/Lehi area looking for houses to buy. We're so excited we've been blessed with an amazing opportunity for Jason to have a job before he graduates as well as being able to buy a house right after graduating. Everything seems to be falling into place, helping to confirm this is what our family needs to be doing and where our family needs to be. Our home is in Lehi, east of the freeway. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures because I totally forgot to take the camera with us. If I can figure out how to put a picture on here from my phone I'll post it. If not, you'll have to wait. :) We're so blessed and grateful to have the Spirit guiding our family. Our testimonies have been strengthened through this whole process reconfirming just how much our Father in heaven truly knows each of us individually and as a family, our needs, our wants, our goals, and personalities.
